My life, 2025 - ongoing, ongoing unending sentence in sea foam green on translucent surfaces, thus far approximately 100 linear feet, (dimensions variable to time and architecture). Installation view, Arts Letters & Numbers, Averill Park, NY, November 27-28, 2025.

Indefinitely ongoing, a sentence is being constructed onto transparent surfaces. This sentence began with the word ‘I’. The tiniest things can create the biggest problems; now, no matter how long the sentence trails on—currently at 100 linear feet—I will need to contend with where it began: the notion of self. Just as these words are irreversibly connected to one another by virtue of being inside a sentence, the separate surfaces are now forever linked.

Extimité— a neologism coined by Lacan describes ultimate vulnerability traversing out of the internal (the psychological) and out onto the surface. As I wrap each tube, the spool of thread is actively being reformed and turned inside out. My life should theoretically continue until 100,000 tubes are completed, in which case I would need to make 1 tube everyday for 273 years. Before I’m able to finish 100,000 tubes, my body will have long turned fully inside out, and into something else. It is an indefinitely ongoing work comprised of every tube wound with thread.
